The Whispering Zoo

Fired after three months in show business, perpetually unlucky Winnie Hart takes a job at Southridge Zoo and discovers she can hear the animals talk, from a tiger who fakes starvation for snacks to a goldfish who forgets who he is every ten seconds. Then there is her mysterious boss, the zoo director who hired her sight unseen and keeps handing out bonuses for no clear reason. Everyone at the zoo, animals included, seems to know a secret about him except Winnie.
