The Lost Little Princess of the Dragon Clan

Framed for treason by her aunt Valera and locked in a high tower, Elowen of the Winfield family uses the last of her strength to send Mia away on the back of the dragon Valensa, carrying a dragon-crested ring and a red obsidian necklace. The dragon is meant to take Mia to her father, Prince Orion of Aetheron. But Orion has no idea she exists, and when Mia walks into a royal banquet she is thrown out as an impostor. She takes work cleaning at the Dragon-Taming Academy so she can visit her mother, while guarding the secret her mother left in her care.
