After sleeping for three hundred years, little Mopsy wakes up and sets out with a mysterious notched hammer to find her family. The five magical beasts she grew up with now guard five strongholds, and all of them are suffering from a blight cast by the villain Malrec. To keep her childhood promise, she has to brave every danger to reach them.
