She Failed Him a Hundred Times

Mortally wounded on an eastern campaign, Emperor Augustus entrusts his empire and his only daughter, Elizabeth, to Caesar Julian, the peasant-born general he calls his sworn brother. Caesar vows before the cross to give the princess a hundred chances, and she swears on the Gospel to treat him well. Three years of war later he comes home victorious and white-haired, only to find her heart turned toward the smooth-talking Cassian. An animated drama set in a Roman-style empire.
