No Tears for Normandy

In the autumn of 1944, young Daniel is unfit for combat, but if his older brother Edward does not report for duty, Daniel will be drafted and the family will lose its pension. With Edward missing, their sister Evelyn makes a desperate choice. She alters the records, disguises herself as a man and goes to war in his place.
